Helicopter Institute plans to use the vertiport to integrate unmanned aircraft within congested airspace, and will be seeking an eVTOL aircraft manufacturer to move its point-to-point FLYP2P project forward.

Longhorn is to provide helicopter charters into this year's HAI expo in Dallas. The company will also undertake tour flights, all operated from the downtown vertiport.
