Axis Jet has been searching for a light jet to serve its California client base. A 2005 seven-passenger CJ3 will be based at Sacramento Mather airport and is said to offer a wider, quieter cabin than most aircraft in its class.

As an experienced professional with a more than 30 year history in the aviation industry, Christy Hutchison will assist growing Sacramento-based Part 135 operation Axis Jet in aircraft acquisition and project management.

Axis Jet's fleet comprises a Hawker 850XP, two Citation CJ2+s, CJ3+, XLS+, CJ4, two Premier Is, four King Air 350s, 300, 200 and a C90B Blackhawk.
