In 1989, Bell Helicopter and NAC teamed up to offer helicopter solutions in the southern part of Africa. There are now more than 225 Bell rotorcraft flying in South Africa alone, and next-generation types are on their way.

Johannesburg-based National Airways Corporation (NAC) and Awesome Aviation Group have reached an agreement to merge their flight ops and aircraft leasing businesses.

The midsize jet sector is in a state of transition, with the most aged models nearing extinction and thoroughly modern new types about to enter service. Some of the earliest purpose-built business jets fell in this category, and there are some of these 1960s designs still flying today.
