Bell's history in Japan started with the delivery of three Bell 47D-1s to Mainichi Press, Yomiuri Press and Chunichi Press on 24 November 1952. Shin-Nihon is not breaking from tradition, as it accepts two 407GXis.
Japanese operators have been admirers of Bell products ever since three 47D-1s were delivered to the country back in 1952. Shin-Nihon will debut the Bell 407GXi, and will perform power-line patrol missions.
