Sweet celebrates extended runway opening at DeKalb County

Some jets aren't able to take off on a 5,000ft runway with a full capacity of fuel and passengers, so the extra 2,105ft at DeKalb County allows the airport to bring in bigger and heavier aircraft that are full on both counts.
Sweet Aviation takes on sole FBO role at DeKalb County

After months of planning and preparation, Tuesday, 1 November marked the start of Sweet Aviation taking over FBO operations at the DeKalb County airport in Indiana.
This expansion means that Sweet Aviation will provide services at the Fort Wayne International airport, Smith Field airport and now the DeKalb County airport too.
