Flaris flight testing approved by Polish CAA
October 18, 2020
The Polish CAA recently issued a permit to continue flight tests and evaluate the Flaris LAR1's maximum speed. The reopening of Zielona Góra is helping to push the programme along.

Flight testing will get under way early in the new year for the LAR1 STOL light aircraft. Flaris will also test an upgraded autopilot system on a separate unit.

Maximum efficiency is the aim of the Flaris jet. A low take-off weight, advanced propulsion and exceptional aerodynamics should take it to FL250 in just three minutes, thus shortening its time in icing conditions.
